Product description
A straightforward controller with a rotary potentiometer for controlling the speed of a DC motor up to 400 W at 12 to 40 volts. The DC Motor Speed Controller controls the direction of a DC motor by using a pulse-width modulated (PWM) DC voltage with a duty cycle that can be adjusted from 10% to 100%. The motor speed controller can provide up to 8 amps of continuous current to a DC motor or other DC load. A 10A fuse with a reverse power supply connection and over-voltage protection for the control voltage is also part of the circuit. Here is a straightforward, inexpensive project to linearly control the speed of a DC motor for targeted, precise applications. Pulse-width modulation (PWM) is typically used to change the speed of DC motors. The motor's speed is constant when the pulse's width is fixed, and it changes when the pulse's width changes. A cheap Audino Uno board with few external components is used in this project. The circuit changes the linear speed variation with forward-reverse control at the switch-on time.
